As Senior Designer at Boom Art + Design I worked on Ignite magazine, an event tourism magazine. Each volume I’d work on enhancing the design guidelines to set the tone for the issues ahead and create consistency for other designers when pitching-in to design article spreads.
Feature
Each issue has a feature article that I would conceptualise based on the content of the article to design a visually striking editorial piece.
Pagination
I worked closely with the advertising and editorial teams to manage the pagination, ensure advertorials were inline with client’s brand guidelines and communicate to the design team layout adjustments.
Culture mag
At Culture, a hair and beauty magazine, I worked closely with the Art Director on selecting creative submissions for each issue to set the art direction of the issue, image retouching and layout design. I produced online videos for CultureTV and created motion graphics for the Culture Magazine App.
